STRUCTURE
Online Educa Madrid features various types of sessions in order to create the most comprehensive and cohesive agenda possible.
The conference agenda is divided into:
Pre-Conference Workshops These are optional workshops taking place on Monday, May 7, offering participants the opportunity to gain practical knowledge and insight from leading experts in a variety of specialised fields. These can be either a half- or a full-day workshop. The intention is that these be practical working sessions that develop participants' skills or knowledge in a particular area. The emphasis is on activity and interaction, so the number of participants is limited.
Plenary Sessions Scheduled during the morning of Tuesday, May 8, and Wednesday, May 9, these plenary sessions feature personalities and internationally acknowledged e-learning experts with contributions of a strategic nature.
Presentation Sessions These sessions are organised around the main themes of the conference. Each session is made up of various presentations lasting between 20 and 30 minutes where leading practitioners will present their experiences and findings. Some of these sessions will feature case studies from various organisations and enterprises.
Debates These will take place at different times throughout the conference agenda and will offer participants an opportunity to participate in debates on various key issues. These debates are intended to be lively and thought provoking and will encourage a full and open discussion on many of the topics that are crucial in the development of our industry. They are also intended to provide important and flexible discussion opportunities for participants and will be, by their very nature, somewhat ad-hoc. Please let us know your suggestions for suitable debate topics.
Practical Demonstrations These are solution and product comparison sessions, which will be dotted throughout the conference agenda to allow participants really experience leading and innovative examples of technology supported learning in practice. These will include 'show and tell' sessions, demonstrations and mini-plug fests.
Vendors Presentation Sessions These sessions on both conference days will include presentations of e-learning solutions by leading international suppliers in the industry.
